The league will be shot over 12 weeks. There will be 4 different course arrays. Each course array will be set up for three consecutive weeks and consist of 4 or 5 stages. In order to be eligible for prize money, you must shoot at least 2 arrays of each of the four courses. You can shoot both of the required arrays on the same night. You can shoot each of the courses as many times as you wish and pay for, time and space permitting, but only your first three will count towards placement for cash prizes. Once a course of fire has ended its three-week run it will not be available for shooting.
- Practice Night will be May 15th
- Course (1) will be shot on May 22, 29 and June 5
- Course 2 will be shot on June 12, 19 and 26
- Course 3 will be shot on July 10, 17 and 24
- Course 4 will be shot on July 31 August 7 and 14
- If we get rained out we will have a makeup night on August 21st
Squads will start as soon as setup is complete, usually by 4:00. You can show up and still shoot as long as you get to the first stage firing line prior to 6:00 pm. Setup around 3:00 pm. Any assistance in this area is greatly appreciated and will count as work hours for the club.
The average course of fire will have approximately 70 to 90 rounds. Each course will have one steel stage, one long course, and 2 short courses. Everyone will be expected to paste targets, set steel, and help RO/Score. The more participation we have the more enjoyable this will be for everyone.
$100.00 for the season ($150 for non-members) OR $10.00 per night ($15 for non-members). Paying $100/$150 for the season entitles you to shoot each course of fire 3 times. $2 of each week’s entry fee will be used for the prize fund.
The number of participants in each division will determine the cash prizes. There will be three divisions Open, Limited, and Revolver. All calibers of guns from cal 22 up thru 45 are allowed. Awards night will be August 28th at the Schultz Gun Club Clubhouse at 6:30 pm. Food and beverages will be provided at no charge. Advanced sign up is required so that we can plan the right amount of food. We will need to know who is attending by August 15th, 2013. If you do not shoot the required number of weeks you will still be eligible for the awards night dinner.
The clubhouse will be open for refreshments and snacks/pizzas after the match. There will be trap shooting available for those of you interested in shooting a round or two or three of trap. If there is a bartender available and someone to run trap.
