The Women's Interest Group is happy to host Mike Brewster for an afternoon of discussions and demonstrations about archery.
The Archery clinic is an introductory course for anyone age 8 and older. All skill levels are welcome, whether you have never even seen a bow and arrow or if you already shoots. Archery is a great activity for mothers & daughters and/or grandmothers & granddaughters.
This FREE event will be held on Sunday, May 5th at 1:00 and will spend the first part of the instruction in the classroom of the clubhouse learning archery safety, archery equipment and the essential skills needed to shoot an arrow (the 10 step shot sequence). We will provide various bows and arrows for all participants to use if needed. Participants can also bring their own archery equipment if they would like. After the classroom portion we will move out to the practice range and shoot, so please dress for the weather.
