The following range rules apply to open/recreational shooting. Other scheduled activities may have additional rules. Prior to participating in any activities for the first time, shooters must be sure they understand the rules for that event.

  • The range may only be used when a club designated Range Safety Officer (RSO) is present.
  • The range is not normally staffed during inclement weather or if the high temperature is forecast to be 25° F or below.
  • The RSO is responsible for range activities and his/her directives must be followed at all times.
  • Everyone must sign up at the range box before shooting.
  • Members must display a club badge or they will be asked to leave.
  • Guests are welcome any time when accompanied by a member. There is a guest fee. You may pay by placing the fee in a pre-printed envelope available in the range box. No person may be a guest more than three times a year. You may host no more than two non-members at any one time.
  • Rifles and pistols of any caliber are permitted. Shotguns may fire slugs only. Full automatic firearms are prohibited. Tracer and armor piercing rounds are prohibited.
  • No shooting from in front of, or in back of, shooting benches. All shooters must use the benches as the firing line.

  • No posting of targets on the backstop supports or on/in front of wooden supports.

Conduct yourself in a pleasant manner.

Leave this place a little cleaner than when you arrived.
